You get two chances to attack two different bases. The troops you build in your normal base will be used to attack in the Clan War. Make sure your Heroes are at full health before attacking so they can be used during the Clan War attack. Your Clan Castle is automatically recharged with donated troops between attacks.
When there are 10 eligible players in the clan, the leader and co-leader have the option to start a clan war. You will be matched with a random opponent (so, for now, no options to start a direct war with a specific clan!) and the two day process of the Clan War begins.
The average of best attacks per clan war is far more helpful for measuring the players contribution. In addition to this criteria, I added a criteria "effective number of stars per CW", which counts the total star gained only for the best attacks.
Clans are an optional feature in Clash of Clans, but it is strongly recommended that every player should join a Clan. Collaboration is a very important and helpful aspect of this game. Clans are groups of players that join together in order to compete with other Clans in two ways: the first is to pool their trophies and battle to collect the most trophies, and the second is to win Clan Wars

Optional: anyone else who at least meets requirement 2 and 3 and 4. But expect a very sloppy war. Optional: if you still have less then 15 players, consider NOT doing CWL at all (probably better) OR if you must, just put in the highest inactive townhall which will hopefull cost your opponent some stars.
